- Opting in allows us to access encrypted conversation data for debugging and enhancement.
- Opting out encrypts your conversation data in a way that prevents our developers from accessing it, while still preserving necessary functionality.

OAuth Access for Authentication and Google Forms Integration:

We may use OAuth (Open Authorization) to securely authenticate you and grant our Service restricted access to certain information you have stored with a third-party provider. For example, you may log in using your Google account.
With your explicit permission, we may access certain restricted scopes of your Google account to import existing Google Forms into our Service. We only request the minimum necessary permissions and strictly use the information obtained through OAuth for providing and improving the features you have chosen to enable (e.g., importing surveys).
You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google account settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve our Service.
Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
Ensure the proper functioning and security of our Service.
Enhance user experience by analyzing usage patterns.
Generate conversation summaries for users, regardless of your opt-in/opt-out status for development access.
Generate Analytics: We may aggregate and analyze survey responses, conversation histories, and associated data to create reports, insights, and trends that help us improve our Service and develop new features. Such analytics will not identify you personally. Additionally, these aggregated analytics may be presented to the company conducting the survey, allowing them to gain insights and better understand overall trends without revealing the identities of individual respondents.
Integrate and facilitate the import of Google Forms you have authorized us to access via OAuth.

Service Providers:
We may share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating and maintaining the Service. These providers are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide services to us.

4. Access to Conversation Histories and Survey Results

Account and Survey Owner Access:
As the account and survey owner, you may access and review conversation histories and survey results generated by your customers. However, you have the option to disable your own access to conversation histories. Disabling this does not affect your access to survey results.
Client Privacy Controls (Conversation Histories Only):
If you disable your access to conversation histories, you will not be able to view previously saved conversation histories. Your customers, however, can continue to access and view their own conversation histories when logged into their accounts. Survey results remain fully accessible to you as the owner.

5. Google User Data and AI/ML Usage

Use of Google User Data:
Our app may access specific Google user data with your explicit permission for functionalities like importing Google Forms. This data is used solely to provide the requested features and improve your experience.
AI/ML Model Training:
We do not use Google Workspace APIs or Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized/non-personalized AI and/or ML models. Any data used for AI/ML purposes is limited to providing personalized insights and analytics to enhance the Service for your specific use.
Third-Party AI Tools:
If any Google user data is transferred to third-party AI tools, it is strictly for providing the features you have enabled and not for generalized/non-personalized AI/ML model training. We clearly document any such transfers in this Privacy Policy to maintain transparency.

6. Storage on OpenAI Platform

Data, including conversation histories and survey responses, may be processed, stored, or hosted on the OpenAI platform. As such, these portions of your data are subject to OpenAI's privacy policies, security measures, and data handling practices. SurvAI is not responsible for any loss, leakage, or misuse of data resulting from OpenAI's failure to adhere to its own policies or to maintain industry-standard security measures.

7. Proprietary Information

Data Separation:
Company data is stored separately within the OpenAI platform and is not shared between SurvAI clients.
Ownership of Data:
All conversation histories, survey results, analytics, and data generated through SurvAI are considered the property of SurvAI.

8. Security Measures

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption and other industry-standard security practices.
